Nutrition and Metabolic Support

More than surgery: A sustainable lifelong nutrition model.

The bariatric surgery process is not limited to just the day of the surgery. True success comes with a nutrition plan that will support metabolism, enable healthy, sustainable weight loss, and integrate into the lifestyle. During this process, our patients are regularly supported both before and after surgery with the guidance of a bariatric dietitian.

Bariatric Dietitian Process: Why is it Different?

A bariatric dietitian is not just a professional who counts calories; they are the person who manages the process from pre-surgery to post-surgery, and guides the patient through their new life after the surgery.

The support provided includes:

  • Comprehensive body composition analysis (weight, fat, muscle, BMI)
  • Evaluation of past diet experiences
  • Personalized nutrition education and expectation management
  • Post-surgery phased nutrition planning
  • Protective strategies for protein, vitamin, and mineral deficiencies
  • Functional supplements and medical nutritional support when necessary

We carry out this entire process in coordination with the bariatric surgeon.
